How to choose a broadband plan in Malaysia

  1. Start with coverage. The best plan on paper is no use if it does not reach your street or building. Check coverage first, or ask us to check all four providers for you.
  2. Pick a speed for your household. One or two people browsing and streaming are usually fine on 100 to 300 Mbps. A busy family, or anyone working from home, will feel the difference at 500 Mbps and above.
  3. Look at the total, not just the monthly price. Some promos last the whole contract and some only last a few months. Sort by “Lowest total cost” to see what you actually pay over the contract.
  4. Check the contract and the router. A 24-month contract usually gets the best price; 12-month and no-contract plans cost more but suit renters. Newer WiFi 6 and WiFi 7 routers cover bigger homes better.

Are these the same prices as the providers’ own websites?

Yes. We check every price against each provider’s official website, and you pay the same amount when you register through us. Prices here exclude 6% SST.

What does “total over contract” include?

It adds up the monthly fees for the whole contract, including any free months and when the promo price ends. It leaves out one-off charges such as extra cabling, which depend on your home.

Why do some plans say “Ask us” for the total?

Some providers state a discount without saying how long it lasts. Rather than guess, we confirm the exact terms with you before you register.

Fibre or 5G home WiFi: which should I get?

Fibre gives the steadiest speeds and suits most homes where it is available. 5G home WiFi needs no installation, so it suits renters and homes without fibre, but its speed depends on the 5G signal indoors.
