What every plan includes
- A 24-month contract.
- A free router: a Wi-Fi 6 Combo Box on 100 to 500Mbps, and a Wi-Fi 7 Combo Box on 1Gbps and 2Gbps.
- A business phone line with a free DECT phone.
- Service restoration within 24 hours, or priority restoration within 12 business hours on 1Gbps and 2Gbps.
- Standard installation at no charge for the first 50 metres of cabling. 1Gbps and 2Gbps get next-day installation, subject to slots.
Add-ons worth knowing about
- Fixed IPNot included as standard. Add it if you host a server, run remote access or view CCTV from outside.
- Mesh WiFiIncluded on 300Mbps and above. Extra units help in long shop lots or offices on two floors.
- 5G wireless backupFree on 1Gbps and 2Gbps, and an add-on on the other plans. It plugs into the Combo Box and takes over if the fibre is cut.
Fees and fine print
- Contract24 months on every Unifi Business fibre plan. The 5G backup add-on has its own 24-month contract.
- Ending earlyUnifi charges the remaining months of the monthly fee, based on the price before any discount.
- InstallationStandard installation is waived for the first 50 metres. Extra cabling or non-standard work is charged by the contractor.
- Upfront paymentRM100 applies to applications made without MyKad reader verification. We confirm whether it applies to you.
- Moving premisesRelocation depends on coverage at the new address. Unifi currently waives the RM300 relocation fee.
No cabling at your premises?
If fibre cannot reach your shop or office yet, Unifi also sells Unifi Air Biz, a 5G business broadband service with no installation. Ask us and we will compare it with the fibre plans for your address.
What you need to register
- Your business registration documents, such as your SSM certificate or company forms.
- The MyKad or passport of the person signing for the business, and an authorisation letter if that person is not the owner or a director.
- The full installation address. We confirm the exact documents for your business type when you register.
Unifi Business questions
Does Unifi Business come with a fixed IP?
No. A fixed IP is an add-on on every plan. Tell us in the notes when you register and we will include it.
What happens if the line goes down?
Unifi restores service within 24 hours, or within 12 business hours on 1Gbps and 2Gbps. On those two plans the free 5G backup keeps you online in the meantime.
Do I need mesh WiFi?
300Mbps and above already include a mesh unit. On 100Mbps, or in a large or split premises, you can add more for a small monthly fee.
How does the 5G backup work?
Unifi supplies a 5G dongle with a SIM that works with the Combo Box. It needs Unifi Mobile 5G or 4G coverage at your premises, and speed is reduced after 150GB in a month.
Is the price the same through JOM Apply?
Yes. You pay Unifi’s published business price and your bill comes from Unifi. We handle the registration and coverage check for you.
