Privacy notice
This notice explains how JOM Apply handles the personal data you give us when you check coverage or register for broadband through this website, as required by Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010. Last updated 25 October 2026.
Who we are
JOM Apply is run by Jom Apply Enterprise, an authorised dealer for Unifi, TIME, Maxis and CelcomDigi. For anything about your personal data, email email us.
What we collect
- Your details: your name, MyKad or passport number, mobile number and email address.
- A copy of your ID: the front and back of your MyKad, or your passport photo page and your visa or work permit.
- The installation address and the type of property.
- For business registrations: the company name and SSM number.
- For coverage checks: the address you want checked and how to reach you.
- Anything you write in the notes field.
Why we collect it
- To check which providers cover your address.
- To register the service you choose with the provider. Providers need a copy of your ID to register a line in your name.
- To contact you about your coverage check or registration.
We do not sell your data or use it for unrelated marketing.
Who we share it with
Only the provider you choose (Telekom Malaysia for Unifi, TIME dotCom, Maxis or CelcomDigi), and only to register your service. The provider then keeps its own records under its own privacy notice.
How we protect your ID copy
- ID photos are stored outside the public part of our website, so they cannot be opened from a web link.
- Only our registration team, signed in to our system, can open them.
- When you upload a photo, we save a fresh copy and remove the hidden details phones add, such as location data.
- If you upload an ID photo but do not send the form, the photo is deleted within a day.
How long we keep it
Registration details, including your ID copy, and coverage check requests are deleted from our website 90 days after we receive them. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
Website statistics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and tools people use, so we can improve the site. It records things like the pages viewed and the type of device, not your name, ID or the details you type into our forms. You can block it with your browser’s privacy settings or an ad blocker, and the site still works.
Your rights
You can ask to see or correct your data, ask us to delete it, or withdraw your consent by emailing email us or contacting us. If you withdraw consent before your registration is complete, we cannot complete it.
