Where TIME is available

TIME built its fibre network starting with high-rise buildings, which is why many condos and apartments have it. It is now expanding into landed homes. TIME says it is available in the Klang Valley, Penang, Johor, Perak, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka and Kedah, and is still growing. Within those states, coverage still depends on your exact street or building.

How to check TIME coverage yourself

Open TIME’s coverage checker on time.com.my.
Enter your location. TIME suggests a street, flat or taman name, for example “Jalan Medan 2”, “Flat Cempaka” or “Taman Cempaka”. You can also let your browser share your location.
Pick your address from the list to see whether TIME fibre is available.

Tip: for a condo, search the building name first. For a landed home, search your street name, then the taman name if nothing shows up.

High-rise and landed: what changes

TIME’s free basic cabling depends on your type of home. According to TIME:

High-rise with no fibre already laidUp to 20 metres from the main door to your router.
Landed with no fibre already laidUp to 40 metres from the fibre termination box to your router.
High-rise or landed with fibre already laidUp to 6 metres from the socket to your router.

Anything beyond that, such as hidden cabling, is charged by TIME’s appointed installer and paid to them directly. TIME says installation takes 2 to 4 hours depending on your type of home.

If TIME is not at your address yet

Because TIME is still expanding into landed areas, “not available” today may change. In the meantime, Unifi, Maxis or CelcomDigi fibre may already reach your street, and 5G home WiFi needs no cabling at all. Send us your address and we will tell you what is there now.

Questions about TIME coverage

Is TIME available for landed houses?

Yes, in a growing number of areas. TIME started with high-rise buildings and is expanding into landed homes. Check your street with TIME’s checker or ask us to check for you.

My condo has TIME. Does every unit have it?

Usually, once a building is wired, units in it can sign up. We still confirm your building and unit before you register.

Can I sign up for TIME through an authorised dealer?

Yes. TIME lists authorised dealers as one of the ways to subscribe. JOM Apply registers you at the same price as time.com.my.

Not covered by TIME? You still have options.

Fibre networks differ street by street. Another provider may already be at your address, and 5G home WiFi needs no cable at all.
